Lana Munip is the Program Performance and Improvement Associate for the School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh.
In this role, Lana supports partnership activities, coordinates projects, facilitates peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, and contributes to the development of resources that strengthen the effectiveness of learning initiatives. Lana has a background in assessment and evaluation, communications, and qualitative research.
She formerly worked at Penn State University as a communications professional and analysis and planning consultant, and then at the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning as a researcher. Most recently, she served as a senior research and content specialist with the National Semiconductor Technology Center, where she worked on developing a resource-sharing platform for educators, workforce practitioners, and employers. Lana’s interests lie in adult learners and nontraditional pathways to higher education.
She has a B.A. in economics from the University of Stirling, in Scotland, an M.A. in television-radio-film from Syracuse University, and an MEd in Higher Education with a specialization in institutional research, from Penn State.
